Not sure, the Main Page is http://rel.to/gomewiki/index.php/Main_Page, don't know if that will tell you what version.
Does anyone know what version of MediaWiki we're using? Thanks for the help on this! (You've got my vote for GrandMaster of the Messengers! )
Ok I need access to localsettings.php to edit a few things then we run a few tests and it should be good.
Ok I need access to localsettings.php to edit a few things...
How do we give Anthony access to this? As far as I know, I don't have any type of admin privileges for the Wiki.

Since the Wiki is on Rel.to, Marten should give him the access informations
All,The GoMe wiki is not locked down; anyone can edit it... In the future, we will probably have to do that, to prevent spammers ...
I am adding an item to my list of things to do ...to delegate privileges for maintaining the wiki.
Our illustrious Grand Master predicted our woes, and we were a bit slow to heed his words...  ( :P @ Theremin). Marten, at your earliest convenience, could you (first) give Anthony access to what he needs, and then arrange for a backup admin as you suggested? (Maybe even 2 or 3, or 4.)
Yeah, it was only a matter of time.
No problem. I will co-ordinate this with Anthony. Also I'll note that the version of MediaWiki on rel.to is a bit out of date. That's because rel.to's server lacks the necessary version of .... some package, I can't remember, a newer Perl or Python or PHP, one of those... which I have no permissions to update. This is one of the key reasons we need to get the wiki migrated over to the GoMe server.
For the moment, I have PROTECTED the "Guy at Mysterium" page by blocking unregistered users, and restored the last version (edited by Leonardo). Since I only know how to protect on a by-page process, this will only help until the spammer targets another page.
Thank you for the quick fix Marten. I long term solution should be implemented though.
All pages should now require login to edit. Feel free to continue browsing anonymously to your heart's content. I've asked Anthony if there are any other changes needed.
I've reviewed all of the changes from 202.88.46.78 and all changes were to the same page, except after my earlier protection on that page, the 'bot created a new page called "Protected_page" while trying to edit the blocked page. I've removed the entry for the new page.
I'd also like to apologize for not addressing this issue more quickly; I went out of town this weekend and came back yesterday afternoon, and I should have checked the board then instead of waiting a day. Also, if I had delegated permissions like I had intended to earlier, either Andros or Theremin would have been able to stop the problem.
Andros and Theremin should now each have administrative privileges on the Wiki. This does not give them the ability to edit the LocalSettings.php file previously mentioned, but it does allow them to delete pages and manage accounts if anyone experiences problems.
Yep the restristion is working, just tried it. Nice one Marten.

Totally agree with you on this.
I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble with our Wiki lately. It is either really slow or an Error 500 keeps popping up in my browser.
I noticed that rel.to was reacting slowly last night. At that time, I had thought perhaps it was my own internet access and related to flooding occurring in the area of the country where I live.
I am able to access rel.to and the wiki right now. (They live on the same system, so if one is slow, the other should be too.) Please keep me posted if you continue to experience problems.
9:52 GMT Wiki slowed to a snails pace 9:53 still uploading page in browser at 9:57 10:00 I got a HTTP 500 Internal error then I gave up and went out.
13:30 GMT took a couple of mins to get on but it was very slow.
14:52 Error 500
I noticed that too. Rel.to and GoMeWiki are both slow.

Do these sites both reside on the same server?
yes, GoMeWiki was put on rel.to as a temporary Wiki. It should be moved to our server with the help of Sophia

15:18 Error 500 Wiki
Went on to rel.to no problems tried Wiki again at 15:22 GMT 15:24 got on to Wiki by 15:52 it had ground to a halt in the middle of editing. I am off for a lie down. :) I will try again later.
Later: 16:34 Stopped again. Tried rel.to at the same time no joy. 16:44 I finally got done doing what I wanted done.
EDIT: 23:40 Error 500
I'm contacting the site admin for the server hosting rel.to and the wiki. It appears that something is periodically consuming resources on the machine to the detriment of all other services.
Nanouk said something today that got me thinking about that part of the world. It seem like eveytime rel.to and Wiki are having problems Alpha Blue has them also. Hummmm
Cheers Marten.
I blame it on the snow, our server is in the western USA and has had troubles since yesterday. Usually they are ever so good... I guess they are having power problems of some sort.
I believe the machine that rel.to is on is physically located in Texas. 8) The issue is something else.
As of this writing, Rel.to's hostmaster is working on the system to improve performance; the Wiki is currently hosted on the same site. Please let me know if the wiki is more responsive.
Very fast indeed Cheers Marten for the update.
Wiki seems to be working fine right now.
Thank you for all the Wiki instructions, Szark, they're great.

Yeah Szarhk, Thanks for all the wiki help. I'll study during my lax time.
Also, sorry if I've been remiss in giving credit to all of you that are doing so much for the GoMe in total, it's what keeps me coming back to help where I can.
Al aka 'snarky'
Now go back to work everyone. I don't have the 'whip', but we know who does.
