I was reading on the MOUL forum, people talking about Guilds in storytelling and it struck me that while we are a very serious Guild OOC and that we have in the cavern a IC presence (right now mostly with the Criers), I was thinking, what if some of us would be role-playing in the cavern as Messengers for the pleasure. Although I would be a little uncomfotable with a "fictional" GoMe with no ties to the OOC GoMe having storylines that could potentially damage the OOC reputation of the Messengers, I think it could be a nice venue for some of us, not interested in sharing news, being a Liaision or being the Manager of something.

Anyway, let me know what you think because I know some messengers that could be interested in doing this.

Regarding what kind of stories would happen. I don't know, I'll let strorytellers develop this idea. ;)

IC role playing is always a difficult point. I'm not able to to that, althought I can be IC.

I think the majority of the things we do, need almost no rewording for passing IC. But that's different from developing an IC plot for the Guild.

Yes Leo. But the plot I was thinking about has nothing to do with messaging, only from an actor point of view.

It could be that the Messagers want to open a Post Office in the J'taeri District for example and we could have problems doing so. Or perhaps, we could lose a bag full of Mails in Ae'gura and we ask explorers to help us find it. It could even be stolen... I don't know... I think that a little storyline involving the GoMe could be a nice thing to brighten the cavern while there is no new content.
