IMO we should keep this here as is states in the FAQ's that peps have a chioice, with the Submit news feature being the most prefered method.

I agree. If, in a few month, this section has not been used, then we should talk about removing it.

I know this is not quite what Leo had in mind when he started this thread but why start a new one when it is connected.

We got a mention at http://www.massively.com/2009/04/14/mysterium-registration-open-for-uru-live-fans/ Seems our news feed is indeed working. I put that on as registration is an important issue. No one asked me to. Good stuff.

I wish more people would use it including the Mysterium organisers.

Although the "Submit News" tutorial is excellent and provides unambiguous instructions on its use, it does not say whether it results in just the article appearing on this website, or whether submission results in the article being re-posted on the various URU forums as well.

Could one of you clarify this? That will affect my decision on whether to use the button or stick with this forum.

Yeah I know Rob but there is a reason for that. We did talk about a clickable box to alert for that service but for some reason (which escapes me) it was dediced against. We have to be careful what gets posted on other forums, we don't want any spam compliants. So far we have only had one. The service is still there if requested Rob. If it is for the greater community then yes I would be happy to post it for you no problem. Use the new system and I can pick it up from there.
