Leo I don't know why you guys don't announce the winner on the RSS feed (home (front) page) like what you did with the first one.

I can't change the rules while a Contest is running. Since Abandoned started with the "old" rules it must finish with them. The next category will use the public voting

The PhotoQuest Contest of this month will close on the 20th, but it seems that you want to publish the Newspaper before that. We could publish the forum post of the August Contest, but it's not nice to republish something. I could rewrite a little article to summarize the last winners and the current contest.

How do we usually do "What happened last month?"? Isn't it just a "copy paste" work from the RSS Feed?

I was thinking for completeion sake to finish off the PhotoQuest for August. Not eveyone use the RSS feed or reads the forums, hence why I would like to include it in the paper.

I have made a good start with Assembly. Just waiting on Marten now. When he gets up and reads his e-mails. LOL I should have something to proof late tommorow or early depending how much more I do tonght.

ROFLOL  Paper will soon be wending it's way to some of you for checking. Wow that was a mission and a half.  Speacailly trying to keep it under 10 MB. But I managed it.

Thank you Theremin, Leo and Marten for your proofing replies I think we are good to go. Well when I have written the annoucement that is. :D

Still thanks for the help everyone. That is a rap. Out now and all posted on the forums. Off to learn some more about Blender. Until December take care and be on the lookout for news and articles to write about or whatever you want. As long as it is naked people running about or even motionless for that matter. :D

In these rough economic times we must impose a mandatory furlough on all Newspaper Personnel until October 1. Budget cuts and all that.

So....did I miss a step? Of course I didn't expect the Newspaper keep being a monthly thing, but it seems that I missed the announcement LOL

So we you planning on every two months or something else?

 LOL, no Leo, the news just kind of seems to be slow these days. If it weren't for Marten, we'd have a slim (yet high quality of course) paper this month.

If things really kick in and start happening, we can crank up production on a more regular basis. (Or if someone [such as yourself?] wants to take a stab at editing...)

We're down to just a few now, about 6 at my count, that trying to produce a paper every month becomes less fun and more of another job.

Just downloaded the Sept issue, great job Szark and friends. Great stuff from Mysterium and Mowog too. 

I snatched the July issue too because of the Audacity writeup. I'm thinking of playing with it to edit sound files.
