 Greetings once again, fellow explorers!

Skydiver Annabelle has once again outdone herself with this massive new quest! Placed within forbidding confines of the abandoned Maintainer fortress, it totals a whopping 16 individual quests and 1264 markers!!! Ever wanted to explore the lost depths of Gahreesen? Well, here’s your chance!   

What will be revealed in this newest journey? To start off, each individual quest is standalone, but the important thing to know is that at times the journey will be dark…*So* very dark. Tour the link-in point, the wilds of the outdoors, plus the dank cells of the forlorn souls who met their final demise here, lost and forgotten to all. Other parts are bit trickier: You will assail the heights of Maintainer’s fortress, climb the legendary training wall, tour the “Rings” of Gehreesen, plus a few other dark patches.      

You’re not afraid of a bit of darkness, are you???

Annabelle has set up special distribution avatar for ease of release, but please contact Annabelle (Ki#  03632553) for the quest itself. Her next quest release is set for late January, so happy holidays everyone!

Due to the multiple exciting announcements and amazing turnout at the All Guilds Meeting, Simon (Ki# 05495449 ) had to move the Opening the Rift Meeting and has requested an update for the cavern's many explorers.

The orientation meeting for the Opening the Rift Marker Quest will now be held at Alexander Rush's Hood on Saturday, December 10 at 13:00 KI time (3:00pm US Eastern) for anyone interested in the project.  If you can't make the meeting, don't worry! Any new information will still be posted here at the Guild of Messengers website.

Artifacts have recently been discovered in the cavern and the Ages-- artifacts providing clues that could revolutionize cavern life!

Simon (Ki# 05495449 ) has been hired by the investigators working to preserve these artifacts as their official representative. At this time, the lead investigator does not wish too much information to be released to the general public, but they want you to know they will require volunteers to help. There is a need for as many explorers as possible to join the investigation, because the puzzle ahead will not easy.

There will be a meeting in Alexander Rush's Hood on Saturday, December 3 at 14:30 KI time (4:30pm US Eastern) for anyone interested in the project. Note that this is right after the All Guilds Meeting. If you can't make the meeting, don't worry! All important information will on the Guild of Messengers website.

The First Sunday Brunch since MOUL's shutdown, when Swifthawk last hosted, was held @ the tent in the Plaza with a big turn out from 10am to 1pm. We ran over until 3pm; it was so much fun!

We expect to have some old Guest DJ's in the future if we can get them rounded up and hunted down. Most are over in SL making Lindens to help pay the cost of feeding our addiction in both URU and SL LOL!

Amber Horizons is hosting a two-hour waltz event in SL this Saturday, from 1-3 PM SL/ PST, in a freshly-created skybox ballroom above the New Kadath sim (http://slurl.com/secondlife/New%20Kadath/27/8/899).  Interested persons are encouraged to pm Julianus (Ace) Nightfire or Dragonia DeCuir for more details.  17th-19th century period dress is encouraged, but by no means required, and attendance is open to all.  Hope to see you there!
