Tre'bivdil Stained Glass Contest for the Gehn Shard

The Gehn Shard admins are pleased to announce the Tre'bivdil stained glass contest!

Submissions will be accepted starting immediately and will continue to be accepted until midnight, October 31st, US Pacific Daylight Time (UTC/GMT - 7) or 01:00 KI time. This is approximately seven weeks. E-mail your submission to contest@guildofwriters.org. The winning pattern(s) will be added to the Gehn Shard in neighborhoods which feature Tre'bivdil.

Submission Requirements

Each submission must consist of two 256x256 texture images:

• A full-color image of the stained glass
• A greyscale image representing the reflection

These images must be submitted in a "lossless" format. If you are unsure which format to use, you should select PNG.

Concept drawings will not be accepted. Your images must be usable in-game in the format they are submitted.

Judging

Submissions will be judged by a panel consisting of Branan, Hoikas, and Deledrius (the Gehn Shard admins). The judges may, at their discretion, solicit opinions from other individuals unless such individuals have entered the contest themselves

Up to three winning patterns will be selected and will be used randomly in hoods just like the current stained glass patterns for Gahreesen and Eder Delin/Tsogal.

Hints

If you are unsure how to best create the reflection image: start with an image consisting of white where the glass is, and black where the frame/border elements are. You can then adjust this with grey areas for dirt/grime as needed to match your glass art.
