Shorah, everyone! Sitting in the middle of summer did not stop this month's All Guilds Meeting, and this one had a couple of big developments! Of course, we present the usual raw and cleansed chatlogs and a summary of all that went down.
OpenUru.org
Mac and rarified were first up for OU. There was a bit of a rough time recently as wildfires in the midwestern United States caused the Minkata shard to shut down for awhile (as rarified had to evacuate his home), but thankfully, not only was his home spared, but (less importantly by comparison, of course) he was able to reconstitute everything in record time thanks to some earlier planning. Bug fixes and testing continue, with a mention of another stress test party some time soon.
Lyrositor
As he has been VERY busy with a number of projects, Lyrositor took to the stage to announce his biggest creation yet: Lyrobot! A spiritual successor to OHBot, Lyrobot will be an in-game avatar linked to a site containing a KI directory (separate from the main thread for now, but there are plans to merge the two), an "Illusions" section that can control the Fun House (to an extent), and the "Lyroscope", which is a live feed from the eyes of Lyrobot itself! Alpha testing was conducted recently with Deledrius, Boq and even OHB himself, and soon, beta testing will begin, with a speedy release to the general population soon after. For now, the bot will be regulated to the Fun House pending official approval from Cyan.
Guild of Instructors
Next up was shokhootahn Rehn (aka r'Tayrtahn) for the GoI. He spoke about D'ni Language Lessons detailed in an earlier GoMe post and on the MOUL forums. The classes begin on Monday, July 16 and are at 09:00 KI time and 23:00 KI time. They will run each Monday afterward until August 20th. He also mentioned that Story Night continues in Tsahno's Hood every Saturday night at 22:30 KI time.
Guild of Messengers
Last was, of course, the GoMe. Doobes mentioned that work had begun on the News Age/Waystation project and that the Guild is always looking for new people for that project and for the Guild in general. Lyrositor talked about The Cavern Post 2.0 and invited everyone interested to submit articles for it, whether they be Myst/URU related or reviews of other games that fans may enjoy. He also announced Toki as the latest member of the Guild and our new Japanese translator.
CAVCON
Although it hasn't been updated in awhile, the CAVCON is still not doing well at 2. Once again, we ask that you donate what you can to keep MOULa alive and kicking.
August's AGM is a bit up in the air due to Mysterium, but we will keep everyone posted. Until next time!
