Pod Parties!
Pod Parties are quite literally a party in a pod!
The party starts at 13:00 KiTime each Friday and lasts up to 13 hours to cover European and US / Canadian time zones.
Each week a different location is used depending on which Friday in the month it is:
1st Friday = Negilahn Pod
2nd Friday = Dereno Pod
3rd Friday = Payiferen Pod
4th Friday = Tetsonot Pod
5th Friday = Special Location
To join the party, contact Pod Party (KI 13046184) stating your KI number and you will be sent an invite for the party.

Let's help the Mysteriacs!
The Mysteriacs have pubilshed a new post on their Blog and this time they need the help of all the community!
They are trying to define the history of the D'ni that happened between the books and the games. This means: what happened in the 21 years between The Book of Ti'ana and The Book of Atrus, or the 33 years between BoA and the first Myst game.
Cyan has suggested to contact us, the fans, for this work and they are giving us this opportunity to contribute to the wonderful project of the MystMovie!
Trekluver has started a thread on the MOUL Forums where everyone can contribute and at the end things will be assembled to be sent to the Mysteriacs.

Have a Question for Rand?
Good news everybody! This year during Mysterium there will be a live video interview with Rand Miller. We are accepting questions from anybody in the community who has something worth asking. While we will take questions that come up during the interview, any questions you have now should be submitted here so we can be prepared. Even if you are going to be at Mysterium, please submit your question in advance. You will be able to ask it to Rand so don't worry.
The interview will happen on August 3rd at 11:30 AM EST (for more details see the schedule). If you are not attending, do not fret because the interview will be broadcast live on our video stream.
CONCERT! Lost in Space cavern-wide preview
Lillo "Lyllus" Minniti, and the Italian Neighborhood invite you to a live concert where the artist himself will broadcast a cavern-wide première of his new album, Lost in Space.
Just to get an idea of the number of people we should expect, we would like you to post a message in this topic if you are going to be with us with your IC name. One hour before the concert, at 19:00 UTC, we'll start gathering up in K'Veer, where you'll also recieve instructions about how you can listen to the live streaming.
Another note: of course the event will be held on the public instance of K'Veer, that you can access using your Nexus.

July's All Guilds Meeting has come and passed, without big announcements but still with a good crowd attending.

Mysterium 2011: Tanshin came to update us on the latest news and changes to the Mysterium Plan. The first annoucement was for who wants to stay at the hotel for days/nights out of the ones planned for Mysterium: The room rate of 99$/night is available for nights outside of the 5th-6th, if you are planning to stay outside of those nights (the rate extends two nights forwards and back), make your reservation for the 5th and/or 6th FIRST. After doing that, take a look at http://mysterium.net/mysterium-2011/registration/additional-reservation-dates/ for a form that you can fill out that will get your rates adjusted properly. T-Shirts need to be ordered by July 8th so we can get the order in on time and they cost $18 and can be found at Mysterium Shop. At the shop you can also find pre-registrations (until July 11th). The Room and Ride Share board has also been opened on the forum and once again PaperPeople pictures can be sent to tanshin@mysterium.zibland.com for attending Mysterium in Paper shape. Important Mysterium Updates and Date Changes
There have been several important updates to Mysterium dates including registration, t-shirt orders, hotel reservations, and more. Also, there is a vital procedure that needs to be done if you are planning to stay at the hotel for nights outside of the 5th and 6th. The steps are detailed in the update post.
Other important things to note:
- Presentation submissions (including displays, performances, large presentations, etc) are currently due by July 3rd. Details on presentations can be found here.
- PaperPeople submissions have opened. If you are not able to come to the event but would like to be there in paper form, see the section of the update post for instructions.
- The Room and Ride Share board has opened here.
